Whales and Wine Tour - October to December - The essence of Margaret River experience
This seasonal tour in Margaret River wine and whale country is a unique experience. It is a tour to inspire all the senses.
You are invited to embrace the wonder of these magnificent creatures of the deep as they cruise past on their migratory path south. The magnificent Geographe Bay with its turquoise waters and stunning scenery creates an unforgettable backdrop for you to get up close to the humpbacks and blue whales on-board your comfortable, deluxe catamaran. The Whale Cruise gets you out to sighting locations quickly so you have more time to enjoy watching whales, with expert commentary, on your 2 hour cruise
After this magical experience we continue your sensory journey. Nothing improves an understanding and appreciation of wine more than visiting the place where it is made and the people who make it. Suddenly it is more than a bottle with a label. It is a landscape, a vineyard, and a sensory experience forever associated with the personality of the man or woman who made it. The Italians say that "a meal without wine is like a day without sunshine."
With this as our objective, we invite you to sit back in your comfortable seat and leave the driving and navigation to your guide as we visit award winning wineries where you will taste some of the best wines in the world. Along the way we will stop for a relaxing classic European style vineyard lunch with local cheeses, charcuterie and wine. After lunch you may choose to visit more wineries, breweries, distilleries and explore breathtaking, all-encompassing views of the beautiful Cape Naturaliste.
